August 18, 2008 Fundraiser, Bone Marrow Donor Drive and Live Concert with Paranoid Social Club to benefit 6 year old Hayley Desjardins on September 6th
Hayley is the daughter of longtime Northern Outdoors employee Mike Desjardins. Young Hayley has a very rare blood disorder and she and her family need our help. Hayley suffers from Aplastic Anemia, a rare bone marrow disease. She requires regular blood and platelet transfusions and will possibly require a bone marrow transplant. On Sept. 6th a bone marrow donor drive and fundraiser is planned at Northern Outdoors Adventure Resort. This is an opportunity to help Hayley and her family, and possibly many others who are in need of a bone marrow transplant. Read the full event details.
