Life Changing Adventure Trips: Acadia National Park to Northern Outdoors
“Many students say that this trip changes their lives, their career focus and inspires them to live differently.”
– Tiffany Rhodes, Assistant Professor, JWU Providence College of Hospitality Management
With winter and summer courses, custom designed by Northern Outdoors and Johnson & Wales (see more: college programs,) students have the opportunity to spend 8 days adventuring in Maine, — learning navigation skills, team building activities, and adventure resort management. Northern Outdoors’ guides lead students on rivers, mountains, ocean, and trails sharing their years of expertise and love of the Maine outdoors. For Maine Guides the outdoors is not just a career, it’s a way of life… or rather The Way Life Should Be.
Snapshots from the Johnson & Wales “Special Topics in Adventure Resort Management” course this week… hiking, biking and rock climbing in Acadia National Park to whitewater rafting, hiking and tackling the ropes course at Northern Outdoors. Thanks to guides Rob Starbird and Ashley Tempesta for their great leadership and photos!
