Best girls weekend ever!
We had been looking forward to our rafting trip with Northern Outdoors for months, and we weren’t about to let the rain deter us from having a great weekend. Half of our group arrived around 11 pm and the other half around 1:30 am – it was DOWN POURING. Dave was SUPER helpful and accommodating to us damsels in distress. He gave us a great deal on a cabin instead of having to pitch our tent in the dead of night, in a rain storm, which he did not have to do – THANKS DAVE!
The rafting trip the next day was a blast. Alex was our guide and was wonderful! He was charismatic and engaging, and most of all, thorough on rafting safety and guiding us through each rapid. It was rainy most of the trip, but we didn’t even notice because we were having so much fun (also thank youuuu wet suits). Thanks Alex!!
We stayed at the campground that night as well in the same cabin, and had a great time grilling and enjoying our girl time together.
We would all definitely recommend Northern Outdoors on the Penobscot River to anyone, and we plan on coming back next year!
