Camping in Maine

Spent a week camping at Northern Outdoors… The campground was clean and right next to the river. The facilities were clean and never ran out of hot water while taking a shower.

At night we went to the lodge and had good times shooting pool, meeting new friends and relaxing in the hot tub.

Rafting down the Kennebec River was thrilling especially on the smaller raft (Diablo). Also, Ashley our guide was fun and very knowledgeable. I fell off the raft and Ashley was quick and got me back in the raft within a flash. We can’t wait to return next summer to do the Dead and Penobscot rivers.
