Maine Vacations

Your Maine vacation… snowmobiling all over Maine’s 13,000 miles of trails in the winter, whitewater rafting Maine’s three rivers and fishing remote waters in the summer, ATVing trails right from your cabin porch in the fall, hiking to waterfalls and up mountains all four seasons, and kicking back next to a fire with a Kennebec River Brewery fresh craft beer. Below are travel guide ideas (and trip reviews from guests) for outdoor recreation near our adventure resort in The Forks, Maine — Moxie Falls, the Appalachian Trail, Kennebec River rafting, Dead River rafting, snowmobiling to Grand Falls, riding up Coburn Mountain — and our Katahdin Adventure Base Camp next to Baxter State Park where you can join us for a rafting trip down the wild and mightily scenic Penobscot River… hike Mount Katahdin, swim in waterfalls in Baxter State Park, explore ice caves and camp by the river with moose and deer making appearances in front of Maine’s Greatest Mountain. Join us on our adventures and post your Maine vacation photos with #NorthernOutdoors to be featured in our taproom.
