We had such a good time with Northern Outdoors for my bachelor party. We did whitewater rafting on the Kennebec river and it was a blast.
Whether it’s after a day rafting the Kennebec or snowmobiling through Maine’s woods, nothing beats a tasty, handcrafted beer. Kennebec River Pub serves up some amazing beer and food, all in an atmosphere that welcomes everyone like a regular.

When my daughter decided to have a winter wedding just days after Christmas at Northern Outdoors this mother-of-the-bride was a little skeptical but I was also quite wrong!
Our daughter’s wedding was catered, managed and held at Northern Outdoors / Maine Lakeside Cabins. The location is beautiful, the food was wonderful. Many at the wedding reported that this was the best food they had at the wedding.
I was placed in charge of planning Bachelor Party weekend for a group of 8 guys, with only one pre-requisite from the groom to be. He wanted to go White Water Rafting and he heard that Northern Outdoors was the best place to do it. It isn’t very often a couple can reflect on their wedding and be 100% satisfied, but I can honestly say Northern Outdoors will not dissappoint. I would reccomend them to anyone that wants to experience a Maine destination wedding!!
