Support Maine Snowmobiling: Join The Forks Area Trails Club
The Forks Area Trail System was first developed in 1983 by trailmaster and Northern Outdoors owner Jim Yearwood, local store owner Gordon Berry, and other local business owners with a connector trail to Greenville. This was the beginning of The Forks being “on the map” for snowmobiling in Maine, and it sure isn’t the end. The Forks has become a top-notch snowmobiling destination with scenic trails along the Kennebec River and beautiful views at Moxie Mountain Overlook. Not only that, we are located at the heart of incredible riding in Maine– Grand Falls, Coburn Mtn, Greenville, Jackman, and Rangeley are all within a day’s ride from our main lodge in The Forks.
Grooming and trail maintenance cost money. The Forks Area Trails Club runs off state funding to support these efforts, as well as support from riders like you. In an effort to give back to our members and increase support of our trails, we hold an annual giveaway for a 2-night stay in a Cozy Cabin at Northern Outdoors. Download the form, fill it out, and send it in with your check to join the club. These funds go directly to supporting The Forks Area Trails Club and assuring we can continue to maintain our equipment and trails.
So if you’re a regular visitor to The Forks and enjoy the riding, please support Maine snowmobiling and our efforts by joining The Forks Area Trails Club!
