What do you enjoy most about working at Northern Outdoors?

It’s hard to beat the work environment. A great group of people working an awesome job makes this a special place.

What is your favorite river to guide, and your favorite rapid on that river?
Definitely the Penobscot! A world class river combined with awesome scenery makes for a great day every time. As for my favorite rapid, I would say Nesowadnehunk Falls.

What’s your classic Northern Outdoors memory?
My first time running a section of the Cribworks called S Chute. Changing up the regular line in a class V rapid can sometimes go south, but everything went perfectly and I got to experience a new part of the river!

Where do you adventure when you are not working?
When I'm not on the river, you can find me in the mountains hiking, biking or skiing.

What do you do in the off-season when you’re not guiding for Northern Outdoors?
I work up at Sugarloaf ski patrolling.
