Much Needed Break on the Penobscot

My group rafted the Kennebec last summer and had a blast and decided to come up again to raft the Penobscot. The trip was fantastic! Going on a Sunday also proved to be a bonus with only three rafts from Northern Outdoors and only saw two rafts from another outfit. ( I am sure you would have liked to have had more , but it made our trip more personal). Rafting was exciting , water was warm, weather was good (Sunday August 7th) and the river was a little high but had just the right amount of punch for out crew.

Facilities were decent, but I would like to see a bit more. Would be nice to see the bar opened at night for some friendly competitive volleyball , corn-hole, or a relaxing dip in the hot tub (like the Kennebec resort). You guys will def make out in the sales of alcohol etc. also where we have 8 people and 4 cars, would have been nice to have two sites as the one site (26) as awesome as the view was; and it was awesome esp with the visiting eagles we had everyday we were there was a bit crowded . Two sites would have been perfect.
