Outstanding Penobscot Rafting Trip!
Our rafting adventure on the Penobscot River with Northern Outdoors was outstanding! Our guide Ryan was incredible. He not only navigated us through crazy rapids but he also informed us of the history of the river as well as the area; he was very personable and a wealth of information. My whole family (4 children, my wife, and I) felt as though we were lucky and got the best guide there was. The trip was very well planned from the reception first thing in the morning, to the lunch in the afternoon (which my family thought was the best meal they ever had), to the after rafting activities. The facility was great, we were able to shower after rafting, enjoy frosty adult beverages, and view a video of the day. The video was amazing and put together in record breaking time. It included interviews, great footage of the rafting, and a great sound track. I forget the name of the fella who put the video together but hats off to him! Everyone was so accommodating and very friendly, The entire trip far exceeded my expectations! I will definitely be back and would highly recommend the trip to all. A big thanks to Northern Outdoor and their staff for creating family memories that will be talked about for many years to come!
