Outstanding Family Weekend of Fun and Adventure!
My family came to spend our Labor Day weekend searching for fun and adventure – and boy were we satisfied! Our group ranged in age from 16 to 65 – and each and everyone of us had a blast. We rafted the Kennebec with Alec on Saturday and got our feet wet with an exciting intro to white water rafting – and finished with a heart pulsing rafting trip on The Dead river guided by Destry.
Both rafting guides were phenomenal teachers, patient and willing to work with all experience levels. Back at the lodge either soaking in the hot tub, taking a dip in the pool, or playing pool in the main lodge – everyone had something fun to do! To top it all off the 40th anniversary “Back the the Future” party on Sunday night was good for dancing, meeting new people and even just people watching (everyone’s costumes were hilarious).
Our family made life long memories that are priceless to us all. We decided that we will make this an annual trip – including more family next year! Thanks you for everything – the whole Northern Outdoors team was amazing!
