Maine Snowmobiling Tour: The Forks to Kingfield

I highly, HIGHLY recommend Northern Outdoors. The rooms are great, the restaurant and brewery are great, and the employees are even better! We came up for the Inn to Inn snowmobile tour from Northern Outdoors in The Forks to the Herbert Inn in Kingfield (now a Lodge to Lodge tour, taking you from Northern Outdoors to Eustis). Sadly, it was the day after the big rain storm and we weren’t able to make it all the way to Kingfield as some of the trails had been badly washed out, so we had to call Russell for help. He dropped everything on a Saturday night around 6:30 p.m. to pick us up, mind you it was the night of the Patriot’s AFC Championship game, and brought us to the Herbert Inn. Then he came back at 9:00 a.m. on Sunday morning to drive us from the Herbert back to Northern Outdoors so we could get our trailer to pick up our sleds. TOP NOTCH in my book. Where else can you find a place or people who are so selfless and so very helpful. THANK YOU!!! We WILL be back!!
